When a dragon eats the morning sun, the kids all stop to watch the fun. It's a solar eclipse, not the apocalypse, just the moon and sun for breathless moments aligned as one.

Let me make one thing completely clear, I'm talkin' 'bout the heliosphere. Rather distant, I fear, you can't get there from here ninety ty two point ninety six kajilion miles, my dear.

Day for night, it's a rare and unusual sight, when the sun hides its fact with the moon, and all the stars, who should be fast asleep, come around to say good afternoon. Sparks that are arcing and arcs that are sparking, and flares exploding through space. That's the corona seen from Pomona; it's a nice place.

Now the dragon's gone, the sun's okay. The kids run off to laugh and play, and the night is the night and the day is the day, and the moon and the sun go their separate ways, but a bit of moonlit magic has has been left behind to comfort you today.
